Spending Plans …. Friend or Foe?

Most likely, you are familiar with state, local, or federal budgets. And paying taxes. You are aware that spending .. paying … has an effect on you in some way.  These kinds of budgets are developed to last for long periods of time. They have spending plans behind them.

You may be familiar with another kind of budget, a business budget. Businesses have not only short-term budgets but long-term budgets as well. They have spending plans behind them.

Then there are families … they typically have some type of long-term budgets—rent, mortgages, utilities would be common components of a family budget. There may be a desire to buy a bigger house, to send children to colleges or for retirement. All have spending plans behind them.

And of course, you.

Budgets need income to support them. That’s where the detailed spending plan is welcomed.

What kind of spending plan do you need? Do you have one?
